The Jeanette Wirz Fundamental Permanent Cosmetic and Microblading Course was absolutely amazing! I learned what I'd hoped to learn and then some. As a licensed beauty industry professional, I know the importance of proper training. After extensive research, I knew this top-rated course would be the best for me, as I was eager to learn a totally new and in-demand skill. This course exceeded my expectations, and a week of continuous basic PMU training was a great introduction into what PMU entails. I was thoroughly taught a variety of information, from sanitation, to application, and even how to ideally position my body while working on clients. I appreciated Jennifer's attention to detail, clear visuals, and willingness to answer our questions as she instructed. The course is beginner friendly, even for those with no prior beauty, aesthetics, or medical experience.
Overall, this course was TOP NOTCH! Professionalism, depth of the curriculum, and the hands-on training allowed me to walk away feeling knowledgeable and confident enough to start the next phase of becoming a great certified PMU artist. Jennifer and Jeanette each have close to 30 years of licensed experience, and I'm grateful to have been able to learn from the best!

Let me start by saying I knew nothing about permanent cosmetics and tattooing. I was a burnt out teacher who loved art, people, and was ready to work with adults and be my own boss. When I discovered PMU I was instantly intrigued and had a vision. I wanted a training program that was not a corporate program with a big name. I wanted to learn from women like myself who started at the beginning and were ready to share their successes, failures, and very best tips/tricks. From Google, I found Jennifer Wilken and Jeanette Wirz and called to inquire about the training program which was 3 hours away from my home. Jennifer was patient, kind, let me express my thoughts and answered all of my questions. She provided a reference who offered more reassurance that this class would be worth the investment. Ultimately, I chose this training above the others that were closer and slightly less in cost. This decision proved to be right from the get go. Jennifer walked me through the training with each step. She answered all my questions as I studied the manual and filled out paperwork. The 5 day class was well paced and gave adequate time in each area to observe, practice, and ask more questions. She instilled knowledge and confidence in me as I worked on my models for brow, eyeliner, and lips. The learning has continued with the apprentice program.
Both Jeanette and Jennifer show that they want to see me succeed by giving me the feedback and support I need to keep pushing forward and improving my artistry. With all said. I highly recommend their foundations course and apprenticeship program. I’m 5 months in and starting at a med spa with confidence and excellent mentorship provided by these talented teachers and artists.
I finally decided to take a Permanent Cosmetics and Microblading Course recently and I am so glad I did!! Jeanette Wirz Permanent Cosmetics classes are very informative, not only in verbal teaching but also in “hands-on” teaching.
Jennifer taught step by step from when the client calls to make the appointment, aftercare, follow-up visit, and everything in between! Jennifer, Jeanette, and staff were right beside us, guiding us with our models during our hands-on process making the experience less apprehensive and making us feel more confident with our clients.

I walked away from Permanent Makeup/Micropigmentation Training at Jeanette Wirz Permanent Cosmetics with a full understanding of the fundamentals of cosmetic tattooing. The comprehensive curriculum covered everything from proper sanitation, and tattoo techniques to business marketing. The small class sizes and schedule flexibility created an optimal learning environment.
My instructor, Jennifer Wilken, was patient and thorough. Within 24 hours, I was working with live models, and by the end of the week, I had the confidence and tools to add permanent cosmetics to my service offerings. Questions were not only answered during class but post-instruction as well.
The staff is delightful, and supportive, and wants their students to succeed. I truly believe I received the best training available in the region.
Jeanette’s apprenticeship program was and continues to be beyond exceptional. Her techniques and style of teaching made my year of education in Permanent makeup worth every mile I drove to see her. She has a well-rounded program that teaches everything from color theory and brow mapping to artistry.
She passed on her years of experience and expertise to me that I will be able to carry on into my own Permanent Makeup carrier. As I have begun on my own she has continued to serve as my mentor and Permanent Makeup “guru”. There is not a question I ask that she does not have an answer for. I am from Memphis and have traveled back and forth for a year now, and just finished the year of my tattoo apprenticeship with Ms. Jeanette. I also attended her week-long school for permanent makeup and the 3D areola class this year. I could not recommend anyone more to learn from. Ms. Jeanette is the best mentor I could have ever asked for. And even after getting my license, I know she will always be there for me, for any questions I have.
