It is important to wait until 48 hours after the appointment before cleaning.
- Gently wash your eyebrows each morning and night with water and an antibacterial soap like Dial soap. Use your fingertips to gently cleanse the eyebrows.
- Rub the area in a smooth motion for 10 seconds and rinse with water ensuring that all soap is rinsed away.
- To dry, gently pat with a clean tissue. (Do not use any cleansing products containing acids (glycolic, lactic, and AHA, or any exfoliates.)
- Apply a rice grain amount of aftercare ointment with a cotton swab and spread it across the treated area. (never put the ointment on a wet or damp tattoo.)
- Be sure not to over-apply, as this will suffocate your skin and delay healing.
Instructions apply to all eyebrow modalities.
It is essential to wait until 48 hours after the appointment before cleaning.
- Wash your eyeliner gently morning and evening with baby shampoo and pat dry.
- Using a fresh Q-Tip, apply a light coat of Vaseline to the tattooed area 1x a day pm only. (It is normal for the pigment to fade 30–50% within the first two weeks).
- Do not touch the tattooed area with uncleaned fingers. (This will increase your risk of infection.)
- Do not apply makeup or mascara on or near the tattooed area for 4 days. (You can use a new tube of mascara after 4 days.)
Please contact your artist immediately should you experience any of the following symptoms: redness in or around the eye, matting or drainage, pain that becomes increasingly worse, and sensitivity to light.
It is good to wait until 48 hours after the appointment before cleaning.
- Gently wash your lips each morning and night with water and an antibacterial soap like Dial.
- With a light touch, use your fingertips, and apply Vaseline or Liprotek #7 ointment on your lips several times a day.(This should be done for at least 10 days posttreatment)
- Do not allow your lips to become dry. (This may interfere with the healed color.)
- Avoid the sun and tanning beds pre and post-procedure.
- Be sure to use sunblock once your lips are healed.
- Avoid direct water pressure, pools, and other bodies of water, until healed.
- You can resume wearing lip products once your lips are healed.
Redness, swelling, tenderness, and dryness are all common post-treatment side effects and will dissipate in a short period of time.
